The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering in Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University (Durham, NC) invites applications for a Non-Regular Rank Visiting Assistant Professor.

This position is in the lab of Dr. Claudia Gunsch and requires research and teaching experience in environmental microbiology and biotechnology.

Candidates are expected to have a doctoral degree in environmental engineering, microbiology or a related field. Successful candidates are expected to have an established and innovative research record, be capable of obtaining competitive external research funding, and actively teaching and mentoring at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. We seek a faculty member who is committed to building a diverse and inclusive community that fosters excellence in teaching.
