| Tenure-track and tenured faculty positions
The Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Technology (INSAIT), created in partnership with Switzerland’s ETH Zurich and EPFL, seeks candidates for faculty positions starting immediately, in Fall 2023 or on a mutually agreed date thereafter.
Founded in 2021 and located in Sofia, Bulgaria, INSAIT’s mission is to become a world-class computer science and artificial intelligence research institute. As such, INSAIT is structured similarly to top U.S. and European universities and provides outstanding working conditions.
We invite applications from outstanding candidates with a proven track record in research and teaching for our assistant professor (tenure-track) and associate/full professor (tenured) openings. We will consider applicants with a research focus in any field within computer science and artificial intelligence. New faculty members are expected to (1) establish a competitive research program and attract international talent/funding to build a strong research group, and (2) teach graduate-level courses. INSAIT is closely connected with ETH Zurich, EPFL, and other universities in the world, and new faculty are expected to collaborate within this network as well as establish new collaborations (academic or with industry) that further advance their research impact. Chosen candidates will also supervise B.Sc. or M.Sc students as part of our research programs for students. To be eligible for this position candidates should:
