Position Description:

We seek a Postdoctoral Associate to work at Duke University on an exciting new project at the interface of machine learning and healthcare. The postdoc will build and apply new computational tools for the diagnosis of motor disorders.

Specific Work Performed: Work with clinicians to collect data and design experiments; Build and use custom lab deep learning software to analyze video datasets; Develop new digital biomarkers for disease.

Other Work Performed and Expectations: Document progress consistently and add progress reports to the lab archive; Attend weekly lab meetings; Communicate with staff and students in the lab, and assist in training new lab members to use established protocols; Publish manuscripts reporting the project’s progress and innovations.

Applicants must have a PhD by the position start date. The applicant should be an expert in Python programming and deep learning APIs and should have a track record of publication in this or a related field.
