We sincerely invite outstanding young scholars from all over the world to apply for talent positions at the school of physics science and technology, Nanjing Normal University (NNU), China. (1) Outstanding Young Scholars (Overseas) project via the National Natural Science Foundation. An annual salary of RMB 700,000 and a house purchase subsidy of RMB 3-4 million. Candidates who have entered the final round of selection but failed to be the final recipient will directly join the first tier of NNU's “Young and Middle-Aged Leading Talents Cultivation Plan”. (2) Chair Professor Fellowship. An annual salary of RMB 1-1.2 million and a house purchase subsidy of RMB 4 million. All successful candidates will be directly appointed as full professors and doctoral advisors. We will help to solve the problems of spouse work and children's school. Interested candidates should provide a CV, publication list, research statement, research plan, and three supporting letters. The application review will begin upon all documents are ready. The physics school includes four research directions: particle physics and astrophysics, quantum thermal transport and energy science, condensed matter physics and statistical physics, optics and acoustics. The Center for Particle Physics, Astrophysics, and Cosmology at NNU focuses on dark matter, machine learning, Higgs physics, heavy flavor physics, hadron physics, astrophysics, and gravitational wave physics. We have an international research team and strong connections with many oversea universities. We are members of CMS, BES-III, and Belle-2 experimental collaborations.
