Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Theoretical Particle Physics – QCD and Collider physics.
The post is available initially for a fixed-term duration of 2 years, with the possibility of extension for 1 further year.
This project will be to carry out research in QCD and Collider physics (theory). Group members in this area include Fabrizio Caola, Frédéric Dreyer and Gavin Salam.
The successful candidate will carry out research in QCD and Collider physics (theory).
The post-holder will have the opportunity to teach.
Applicants should hold a PhD, or be close to completion in physics or a related field and have a strong background in perturbative Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) at particle colliders. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a capacity for independent research work and should have a publication record commensurate with career stage.
Please direct enquiries about the role to Dr. Fabrizio Caola (fabrizio.caola@physics.ox.ac.uk).
Only applications received before midday (UK time) on 30 November can be considered. You will be required to upload a statement of research interests, CV and details of two referees as part of your online application.
