About the Position The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Minnesota Twin Cities (ece.umn.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in photonics, electronics, or magnetics. We seek a qualified candidate who performs cutting-edge experimental work in micro- and nano-fabrication with a focus on devices, structures, and/or materials and who will make extensive use of the facilities in the Minnesota Nano Center (cse.umn.edu/mnc). The candidate should also have an enthusiasm for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in fundamental and advanced devices and/or circuits. Responsibilities include:
This is a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Qualifications: Successful candidates will have outstanding academic and research records and are expected to establish a vigorous, funded research program, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and be involved in service to the university and the profession. An earned doctorate or equivalent foreign degree in an appropriate discipline is required at the time of appointment. It is anticipated that the appointment will begin Fall 2023.
