Position Description:

The job responsibilities will be to plan and execute 4-5 projects in collaboration with faculty members from Duke and other academic institutions. You will perform advanced computational research, as well as human subject testing and analysis for clinical neuromodulation research projects. You will perform data analysis utilizing medical imaging data, computer models, and statistical tools. You will prepare and submit manuscripts for publication, as well as develop and present workshops on neuromodulation research methods and scientific findings. You will also conduct research on a variety of clinical problems including Parkinson’s disease, depression, and epilepsy. In addition to these scientific responsibilities, you will work in collaboration with Duke faculty members to write and apply for research grants as a principal investigator. The grant applications will require advanced planning of the projects and their administrative management.
