![]() Assistant/Associate Librarian Position: Systems & Technology Librarian Department: Library Appointment Rank: Assistant or Associate Librarian Salary Range: 68,173-88,430 Expected hiring range: Assistant ($68,173-77,175) or Associate ($81,678-88,430) Available: Beginning no later than July 2023. Definition of Classification: Armacost Library seeks a Systems & Technology Librarian to support library systems infrastructure and initiatives related to teaching, learning, and research technologies. This position provides support and oversight of library systems infrastructure, serves as a resource for faculty and students in exploring and developing digital projects and/or initiatives related to teaching and learning with new technologies, and provides outreach and instructional workshops to assist faculty with incorporating library resources and tools into their courses. The person in this role will build partnerships inside and outside the library related to systems and digital initiatives in ways that cultivate high-impact learning experiences and advance student success and retention efforts. In addition to this functional role, the Systems & Technology Librarian is a subject liaison providing reference, instruction, collection development, outreach and scholarly communication support to assigned academic programs. The University: The University of Redlands is a private, comprehensive liberal arts and professional institution with approximately 2,500 undergraduate students in the residential College of Arts and Sciences and 500 graduate students in the School of Business and Society. It is located sixty miles east of downtown Los Angeles, in a town of 70,000. The campus is surrounded by orange groves and sits at the base of the San Bernardino mountains, one hour from ski resorts, one hour from the coast and 45 minutes from Palm Springs. Light rail into downtown Los Angeles and coastal areas is available.
