The Hargrove Lab at Duke University is seeking a Visiting Associate Professor to participate in research supporting the National Science Foundation project, “Shape-based differentiation of RNA elements using small molecules”. In collaboration with Prof. Amanda Hargrove and her laboratory, the candidate will participate in research activities that focus on the classification of RNA pseudoknot structures using small molecule-based pattern recognition. The candidate will also familiarize themselves with NSF-funded intermolecular interactions CURE in a manner that supports the collaborative development of an interinstitutional CURE. 

Professor Hargrove will provide necessary lab space and instruments for research activity at Duke. This position does not include teaching obligations or activities.
