The Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development invites applications for a full-time, nine-month Senior Lecturer of Higher Education Administration. We seek an individual with substantial professional experience working within higher education institutions and demonstrated ability to contribute to the program’s commitment to preparing the next generation of diverse leaders in higher education. To that end, we are seeking a colleague whose teaching carries a strong social justice orientation, who can enhance our efforts to build equitable and just education environments, and who can expand our partnerships with institutions that serve diverse student populations.
Higher Education Administration faculty teach primarily graduate-level courses for the master's program both on-campus and online, advise students, and provide service to the college and university. Senior lecturer's are typically assigned 3 courses per semester; a portion of the workload within this position will be dedicated to administrative responsibilities shared across the program faculty, and toward leading activities to grow the program, including student recruitment and building institutional partnerships. Courses in the Higher Education Administration Ed.M. program are offered both on-campus in the late-afternoons/evenings and online; course assignments will include in-person teaching at the Charles River Campus.

Required Qualifications:
· Terminal degree in higher education or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
· Extensive successful experience working in a leadership position within higher education
· Experience teaching at the university level, both in-person and online
· Experience and commitment to data-informed decision-making
· Deep network from which to recruit potential students and develop partnerships
· Active engagement in professional development activities and professional associations
