POST-DOCTORAL POSITION IN AB INITIO CALCULATIONS OF 2D TWISTED QUANTUM MATERIALS W. M. Keck Computational Materials Theory Center One postdoctoral position is available in the W. M. Keck Computational Materials Theory Center at California State University Northridge (http://www.csun.edu/~nkioussi/) in the area of electronic structure calculations and tight-binding calculations of quantum materials, from van der Waals materials to moiré quantum matter including moiré magnetism and moiré charge density waves. Candidates must have experience with first-principles electronic-structure calculations and tight binding calculations of twisted materials, topological insulators, strongly correlated electrons, Wannier functions, and code development. This work is in collaboration with experimental and theoretical efforts at Caltech. The position is available immediately. Initial appointment is for two years with the potential for renewal third year based upon satisfactory performance.
