Associate-in-Research Position –Engineered Vascular Tissue. Responsibilities include: Independently conduct laboratory-based experiments such as tissue and mammalian cell culture, cloning, gene expression analysis, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, ELISA, protein arrays. Teach assays to other laboratory personnel and collaborate with personnel in laboratory-based experiments and assays for the various research projects. May also provide support for animal studies in the lab including animal handling and maintenance, preparation for surgeries, occasional measurements, etc. Interpret data, write methods, protocols and reports. Laboratory management include coordinating and maintaining certifications for lab equipment and personnel-related lab trainings, overseeing and managing completion of required lab safety trainings, records and compliance of lab personnel, coordinating lab meetings, coordinate ordering of supplies with lab personnel, coordinate and plan diverse lab related events
