The Emergent Quantum Systems Lab (EQSL) in the Department of Physics & Astronomy at University of Notre Dame is seeking a postdoctoral researcher.
The research will involve designing and fabricating superconducting devices, handling and studying noble-gas liquids and solids, measuring electronic and optical properties of materials and devices at millikelvin temperatures.
The candidate should have a strong background in condensed matter physics, material sciences, or related engineering fields. Programming skills for controlling electronic/optical hardware and performing model calculations are highly desirable.
This position is funded and renewable up to three years. Further extension of appointment will depend on funding availability and mutual agreement.
