Duties: The Division of Natural and Computational Sciences at Benedictine University at Springfield, a private liberal arts institution in Springfield, IL, seeks candidates for Assistant Professor beginning fall 2013. The ideal candidate will be interested in teaching undergraduate courses in the fields of chemistry, biology, or health/environmental sciences. The successful candidate should display a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, demonstrate the ability to teach online classes, and enjoy working in a small but rapidly growing interdisciplinary department.
Qualifications: Ph.D. (or terminal degree in the field) in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or closely related field is required; teaching experience preferred.
