Title: Executive in Residence – AI / ML

Duke University’s Master of Engineering in AI program in the Pratt School of Engineering, one of the leading applied AI/ML programs in the country, invites applications for a Non-Regular Rank Executive in Residence position.

The major responsibility of this position will be to teach four graduate-level hands-on courses per year in AI and/or Machine Learning.  Additionally, the successful candidate will assist the Director of the program with special projects each year which may include sourcing and managing student capstone projects, developing relationships with industry technology partners, and building short-form online courses.

Candidates should have significant prior industry experience in AI and/or Machine Learning, ideally with the development of production AI/ML systems or products in any industry. Ideal candidates would also have a PhD or commensurate industry experience/expertise in a related discipline and ideally have prior teaching/training experience. This position is expected to be full time.  The successful candidate must be located in the Raleigh-Durham area or willing to relocate.
