Department of Biological Sciences - Prof. of Practice, Lehigh University
|The Department of Biological Sciences at Lehigh University is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track Professor of Practice to begin in August 2013. The position requires a Ph.D. in biological sciences, postdoctoral teaching experience, and expertise in the use of innovative and interactive scientific teaching practices in both introductory and advanced level courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching of introductory core courses (Cellular/Molecular Biology; Genetics) in addition to advanced level labs (Biochemistry; Molecular Genetics). Mentoring undergraduate students in independent research projects is also expected. This is a three-year position, with the potential of renewal. The College of Arts & Sciences at Lehigh is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
