The Theory Center at Jefferson Lab (JLab) has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow position, focusing the research on lepton-nucleus scattering in the pion production region. Candidates with proven expertise in the modeling of pion production on the nucleon and/or in calculations of the electroweak response of nuclei, particularly with quantum Monte Carlo methods, are encouraged to apply.  The position is for two years, but outstanding performance in carrying out the research projects may allow extension to a third year.

The Postdoctoral Fellow is expected to disseminate the research results through articles published in refereed publications, presented at conferences, workshops and seminars, and through submission of proceedings.
