LEHIGH UNIVERSITY. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE, https://engineering.lehigh.edu/ece) invites applications for an open rank position in the area of Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in computer engineering. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, computer architecture, VLSI, embedded systems, operating systems, electronic design and automation, computer security, computer networks, and Internet of Things. Tenure upon hire will be considered as appropriate for applicants’ experience and rank.

Candidates must have an earned PhD in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field by the date of employment. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in electrical and computer engineering at the graduate and undergraduate level; engage in scholarly activities; participate in departmental, college, and university service; and contribute to the university’s community outreach efforts.

The selected candidate will develop strong research programs, contribute to our educational mission, complement our existing strengths, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
