| Ghimire Research group in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at University of Notre Dame has an opening for a postdoctoral position in experimental condensed matter physics. In particular we seek a candidate with strong background in bulk single crystal growth and magnetotransport studies of quantum materials. Topics of interest include magnetic topological materials (kagome magnets are relates systems), chiral magnets and novel antiferromagnets such as altermagnets. Ghimire research group is a part of Stavropoulos Center for Complex Quantum Matter at the University of Notre Dame. The postdoc will have opportunity to closely collaborate with the members of the center as well as our existing collaborators including for neutron scattering experiments, and DFT calculations. We work closely with research groups at Argonne National Laboratory, and opportunities for joint projects are anticipated.
