Senior Research Associate

Dr. Henry Yin’s lab at Duke University seeks a motivated, full time Senior Research Associate starting approximately February 2024. 

The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in neuroscience or related fields. Experience working with rodents is required, and a strong background in areas like in vitro brain slice electrophysiology, in vivo single unit electrophysiology, microscopy, or molecular biology is also highly desirable. 

Responsibilities include performing research on cortico-basal ganglia circuit mechanisms underlying learning and expression of goal-directed actions. The candidate will work with postdocs, graduate students, and undergraduates conducting research.

This position has full benefits and salary will be competitive and based on departmental equity. The initial appointment will be for one year, with renewal based on continuation of grant support and success in the position.
