Position Description:    

The Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology Group in the Physics department of King’s College London has an open postdoctoral position starting in September/October 2024. The position is for 2+1 years, we can guarantee 2 years and expect a 1 year extension. The post is supported by the UK STFC research council.

The successful applicant will have experience in one or more of the following areas:- 
  -Beyond the standard model particle physics, collider phenomenology and LHC physics.
-The intersection of particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology, including but not limited to dark matter. 
-Links between gravitational waves and particle physics, including phase transitions and probes of physics beyond the standard model. 

The growing Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology Group consists of Bobby Acharya, Jean Alexandre, John Ellis, Malcolm Fairbairn, Ruth Gregory, Eugene Lim, Lionel London, David (Doddy) Marsh, Nick Mavromatos, Chris McCabe, Mairi Sakellariadou, Sarben Sarkar and Tevong You, as well as postdocs and PhD students.
