The theoretical high energy phenomenology group (Tif Lab) at the University of Milan invites applications for three postdoctoral positions funded by grants with PIs Giancarlo Ferrera, Stefano Forte and Raoul Röntsch. The positions are for two years, starting September 2024; extensions for a third year might be available depending on funding.

Applicants from all areas of high energy phenomenology are invited to apply. The focus of the grants is on higher order QCD calculations, QCD resummation, and collider phenomenology. A strong interest in these topics as well as machine learning and/or Monte Carlo methods would be a plus.

The staff in the Milan phenomenology group also includes Stefano Carrazza, Alessandro Vicini and Marco Zaro. There are close contacts with the Milan-Bicocca phenomenology group and with the local ATLAS and Borexino experimental groups. More information can be found at

Applications should be submitted through this site.

They should include a CV and a brief statement of research interests; applicants should also arrange for three letters of recommendation to be uploaded through this portal. Priority will be given to applications received before 7 January 2024, but later applications may be considered.
