Position Description

Prof. Mooney’s High-Energy Physics group in the Department of Physics at Colorado State University seeks applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Experimental Particle Physics. The position (based at Fermilab) will involve the analysis of data collected by the SBN detectors (ICARUS and SBND), development of precision calibration and machine-learning-based neutrino reconstruction techniques for LArTPC experiments, and detector development and commissioning for DUNE and the SBN Program. Some travel, both domestic and international, is expected as part of the position for carrying out various research activities.
