Clinical Assistant and Clinical Associate Professor, Occupational Therapy

The Department of Occupational Therapy at Boston University is seeking two dynamic clinical faculty members to teach and advise students in the Occupational Therapy Department. Specifically, we are seeking two full-time faculty at the ranks of Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Associate Professor to teach and advise in the graduate-level entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (EL-OTD) program. Primary responsibilities will include teaching occupational therapy and behavioral science courses and advising. In addition, providing support for clinical fieldwork (as a Level 2 Fieldwork Coordinator) will be expected for one of the positions. Engagement in research and/or scholarship is required and supported. To summarize, we are seeking:

(1) one Clinical Associate Professor, Occupational Therapy discipline (2) one Clinical Assistant Professor, Occupational Therapy discipline; (responsibilities will include Level 2 fieldwork coordination)

Candidates must have an earned doctoral degree, current certification as an occupational therapist, and eligibility for Massachusetts licensure. The ideal candidate will have four or more years of clinical experience, experience teaching either in an academic or practice setting and will have a program of scholarship. This is a nine-month appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant and Associate Professor, depending on prior experience, non-tenured. Salary is commensurate with experience.
