The Department of Statistical Science is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Associate. This position will focus on the development and application of novel statistical methods motivated by problems in health data science, with an emphasis on dimension reduction methods. The ideal candidate will have completed their PhD in Statistics or a closely-related field by the start date for this position. A successful track record in statistical theory and methodology development is a prerequisite, and it is desirable to have experience in Bayesian modeling of high-dimensional data with non-linear and/or nonparametric methods, as well as in associated theory and computation.

The position will be supervised by Professor Amy Herring (amy.herring@duke.edu) and will start on or after July 1, 2024.
