Position Description

Job Description Non-regular rank ballet instructor for all levels of tap dance.

Qualifications An undergraduate education provider needs applicants for an opening for an in-person (in studio) Non-Regular Rank tap instructor. Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities: Perform course planning and instruction, facilitate and support student success in learning.

Requirements Candidate must demonstrate a rigorous background in professional or pre-professional tap dance teaching and experience. Candidate must hold university-level degree(s). Candidate must have experience teaching all levels of tap and demonstrate a syllabus or record of long-term or semester long teaching and experience. Instructor should demonstrate an ability to present the aesthetic as well as cultural origins of the form through their teaching process. Experience in choreography will be considered an asset. We will consider an individual's record working with students and colleagues with diverse perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds.
