The Economics Department and the Women’s Studies Program at Colgate University invite applications for a joint open-rank tenure-stream (or tenured) position commencing in Fall 2014. Strong preference will be given to candidates specializing in gender economics and interdisciplinary approaches to women's studies. The successful candidate’s teaching will include both Economics and Women's Studies courses with an expectation that some courses will integrate the two disciplines. All Colgate faculty are expected to participate in all-university programs, including the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum. Completion of Ph.D. prior to or shortly after the date of hire is expected.
