Position Description

The job will include the preparation and performance of biophysical experiments, data evaluation, presentation of research results at scientific meetings and writing manuscripts for publications. This position is essential to continue important research on bacterial mechanics in my group. This job requires a PhD in physics with a specialization in biophysics and working experience with biopolymer physics, numerical simulations of biopolymer networks and general lab experience with microscopy, biochemical preparation methods and wet lab techniques.

You will be conducted at: French Family Science Center, 124 Science Drive Room 2322, Durham, NC 27708.
