Call for nominations of 2025 Junior Fellows 

Junior Fellows of the ETH Institute for Theoretical Studies (ETH-ITS) are independent junior postdocs of exceptional talent and promise, having achieved significant results in mathematics, theoretical computer science or the theoretical natural sciences. They stay at the Institute for up to three years. 

The ETH-ITS invites nominations of Junior Fellows by faculty members and senior researchers of universities and research institutions around the world. The deadline for the nomination of Junior Fellows to be appointed in 2025 is 19 September 2024 (noon CEST).

Please note: 

• Junior Fellows must have a PhD. at the time of appointment. 
• Candidates with a PhD. from ETH will be considered only in exceptional circumstances. 
• Direct application by candidates are not considered. 
• Candidates must be nominated by faculty or senior researchers in mathematics, theoretical computer science or the theoretical natural sciences. 

Instructions for uploading material and the recommendations letters will be provided to the nominated candidates. A selection of the candidates will be invited for interviews by committee members and other experts.
