|The Department of Biological Sciences at Lehigh University is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track Professor of Practice to begin in Spring or Fall of 2014. The position requires a Ph.D. in biological sciences, significant teaching experience, and expertise in the use of scientific teaching methodologies in both introductory and advanced level courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for the teaching of introductory core courses (Cellular/Molecular Biology; Genetics) in addition to advanced level labs (Biochemistry; Molecular Genetics). Mentoring undergraduate students in independent research projects is also expected. This is a three-year position, with the potential of renewal. The College of Arts & Sciences at Lehigh is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their research, teaching, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
