|The Department of Psychology at Boston University invites applicants for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Health Psychology or Child/Adolescent Clinical Psychology, to begin in the academic year 2014-15. This position is within our program in Clinical Psychology. Our clinical program is committed to the Boulder scientist-practitioner model, along with training that incorporates consideration of diversity issues in training and clinical research. We are seeking candidates with a doctorate in clinical psychology, whose research focuses on health psychology or child/adolescent clinical psychology. A research focus on health disparities and/or underserved and diverse populations is especially welcome. We are especially interested in applicants whose work complements the current strengths of our program. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 3 courses per year and engage in research training at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Courses could include Introduction to Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology or Lifespan Development (undergraduate and graduate) and a specialty seminar and research methods courses geared to doctoral students in the clinical program. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
