|The Philosophy Department at Swarthmore College invites applications for a tenure track position at the level of assistant professor beginning in the fall of 2014. AOS: Ethics. AOC: Social and Political Philosophy. We are especially interested in candidates who have the ability to contribute to the Program in Peace and Conflict Studies and/or the Program in Environmental Studies. The ability to teach Philosophy of Law would be an advantage. Ph.D. preferred. Applicants should be committed to combining teaching and research at a small liberal arts college. Swarthmore is currently transitioning from a teaching load of five courses per year to one of four courses per year. Salary is very competitive. |
