The Yale School of Management seeks to hire a faculty member in the area of entrepreneurship for a five-year (renewable) non-tenure-track position. The selected candidate will be expected to teach and advise MBA and Masters-level students on a broad range of topics in entrepreneurship (e.g., writing business plans, entrepreneurial finance, lean startup), and to coordinate SOM's efforts to integrate with entrepreneurship programs in other units at Yale (e.g., YEI, the School of Engineering, Office of Cooperative Research, YNNH, and the Medical School). Demonstrated teaching excellence in entrepreneurship and experience in running similar programs at other business schools is strongly preferred. Entrepreneurial and VC/PE experience is also highly desired. Candidates with at least five years of university teaching experience will be eligible for appointment as Senior Lecturers. Candidates with this level of teaching experience plus significant research accomplishments may be eligible for appointment at the level of Professor in the Practice. Appointments will be made for the 2014—2015 academic year, beginning July 1, 2014.
Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, research statement, and contact information for at least three letters of reference.
