The Yale School of Management seeks to hire a faculty member in the area of design for a five-year (renewable) non-tenure-track position. The selected candidate will be expected to teach and advise MBA and Masters-level students on a broad range of topics in design, design thinking, and innovation, and to coordinate SOM's efforts to integrate with design-related programs in other departments at Yale. We are looking for a thought leader whose ideas and work have been influential in the application of the discipline of design to problem solving, innovation, and management. Excellence in teaching is essential. We are open to a candidate who would hold this position along with other professional responsibilities. Appointments will be made for the 2014—2015 academic year, beginning July 1, 2014.
