Applicants for tenure track positions must have an earned doctorate (U.S. or foreign equivalent) by the time of appointment, evidence of active scholarship and teaching experience. The Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Leadership (BA HCL) prepares students from diverse professions and backgrounds for careers in leadership positions across a spectrum of healthcare settings, including healthcare organizations, government, and industry. There are plans for the development of a Master’s degree in Healthcare Leadership or a related field.

In addition to the BA HCL program, we offer two nursing degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and a Master of Nursing (MN). The BSN is designed for learners who are registered nurses. The curriculum supports students in developing professionally. The MN program prepares RNs for practice in a range of settings as leaders, managers, care providers, and educators. Additionally, in collaboration with the Education Program, we offer a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (EdD) that includes a pathway for nurse educators.
