The Department of Classical Studies invites applications for a one-year appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor in Classical Studies, to begin in August 2014. Candidates must have the PhD in hand or be able to assure its completion before the appointment begins. We are searching for someone specializing in Greek literature of the 5th c., especially drama. The teaching load is two courses per semester, teaching Greek at all levels (including graduate) and an undergraduate survey course in Greek history.
