|The Department of Physics and Institute of Astronomy at National Tsing
Hua University (NTHU) in Hsinchu, Taiwan, invite applications for a
tenure-track faculty position to start in the 2016 academic year, at the
assistant professor level in experimental condensed matter physics.
Outstanding individuals in the areas (both theory and experiment) of
high energy, AMO (atomic, molecular and optical), astronomy and
astrophysics will also be considered. Ranks at associate professor or
above will also be considered for candidates with exceptional record of
research excellence and academic leadership.

Successful candidates are expected to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He or she should be able to develop competitive research programs with global impact. Proficiency in Chinese is preferred but not required.
