The Department of Political Science at Vanderbilt University invites applications from outstanding political scientists with a specialization in International Relations for a tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in international conflict or cooperation. Candidates must possess strong theoretical and empirical skills and can ideally be able to assist in teaching quantitative methods or formal theory. Priority will be given to interesting research that builds synergies within the department. To enhance its growing scholarly reputation, the Department encourages applications from the best possible candidates. The appointment will begin Fall 2017. Salary and benefits are highly competitive. The Committee will begin reviewing files immediately.
