|The Department of Psychology at the University of Oregon is updating its pool of applicants for Pro Tem Instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Positions are temporary, intermittent, or of limited duration; not to exceed one-year. In limited circumstances, there is the possibility of renewal beyond three years depending on programmatic need, funding, and performance.
Instructional areas may include introductory psychology, research methods, thinking, cognition, clinical psychology, clinical practica (Oregon psychology licensure required), or development. A PhD in Psychology or a closely related field is required; university level teaching experience preferred.
Demonstrated abilities to mentor and support students from diverse backgrounds, cross-cultural communication skills, experience with different teaching strategies and learning styles are preferred.
Applications will be accepted on a continuous basis. Screening of applications will take place as positions become available and will continue until positions are filled. The pool is active through 06-30-2017.
