|Duke Kunshan University seeks
applicants for a faculty position (rank open) in the area of Medical
Physics to start as early as fall 2017. Duke Kunshan University currently
has a masters program in Medical Physics, and is building its research
capabilities in the area of medical physics.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in an appropriate field at the time of application. The position is open to individuals with expertise in either therapeutic or imaging physics with priority given to candidates having completed at least postdoctoral research training. Professional certification in medical physics by the American Board of Radiology is not required but is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to conduct outstanding independent research and be an excellent teacher (or show promise for excellent teaching and mentoring). Candidates whose research and/or teaching are interdisciplinary and focused in Medical Physics are strongly encouraged to apply.
