The Robert D. Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon is seeking qualified applicants for its open instructor pool. Positions are limited duration appointments potentially renewable for up to a total of three years. In limited circumstances, there is the possibility of renewal beyond three years based on programmatic need, funding and performance.
Duties for instructional positions may include teaching one course, or up to six to eight sections of a year-long sequence for freshmen and sophomores, or upper division colloquia for juniors and seniors (or a combination of both), advising responsibilities, and services as representatives of the Clark Honors College on senior thesis committees. Ph.D. degree in hand in a relevant field, by time of appointment, and evidence of superior teaching ability required.
