The Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at Boston University invites applications for a full-time lecturer position. This is a one-year appointment beginning July 1, 2017 and is renewable based on satisfactory performance. Full-time lecturers are valued members of our department and it is common for lecturers to serve on our faculty for many years. This position entails teaching undergraduate courses, which may include general psychology, statistics, experimental research (including personality, perception, cognitive, human neuroscience), psychology of perception, physiological psychology, cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, psychology of personality and other core courses in psychology. The teaching load is three courses each semester. The position also involves advising of undergraduates and supervision of graduate student teaching fellows. Candidates should be strongly committed to excellence in teaching and advising and should have at least three years of teaching experience at the college level.
