Duke University: The Department of Germanic Languages & Literature is seeking to make a one-year visiting faculty appointment, either at the rank of assistant professor (PhD in hand no later than June 15, 2017) or associate professor; field specialization open. This is a one-year, non-renewable position for the academic year 2017-18. The teaching load will be 2/2, and the visiting faculty member is also expected to participate in the department’s intellectual community and to engage with undergraduate and graduate students. The position comes with Duke’s standard package of fringe benefits; salary will be commensurate with job-experience and qualifications.
