Postdoctoral Research Associate in Quantum Condensed Matter Theory
Grade 7: £31,076 - £38,183 p.a.

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to perform research on the theory of condensed matter working with Professors J T Chalker, F Essler, P Fendley, D E Logan and S Simon. The position is supported from an EPSRC grant for work on Quantum Matter in and out of Equilibrium. The post is available for a fixed term period of 7 months starting from 1 September 2017.

The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Investigators on research supported by the grant. This allows considerable flexibility but has as its main themes: Disorder in Correlated Quantum Matter, Characterisation and Detection of Topological Matter, Non-Equilibrium Quantum States of Matter, Geometric Descriptions of Topological Phases.
