POSITION: Lecturer of Management and Organizations-Diversity and Inclusion Programming (9- month appointment, non-tenure track). The Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University seeks a Lecturer, 3-year appointment with possibility of renewal. Renewal is contingent upon performance reviews and availability of funding.

The incumbent in this position will be expected to teach three undergraduate courses (50% teaching) and take a leadership position (50% administrative) for the Dyson Business Inclusion and Diversity Program. Dyson is one of three schools that make up the Cornell S. C. Johnson College of Business.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach at least three sections of undergraduate management type courses per academic year and may work with students at the graduate level. There is some flexibility about specific course titles, which could include courses such as: Introductory Management, Organizational Behavior, Business Inclusion and Diversity Skills or Human Resource Management. It is also expected that the incumbent be actively engaged with students as a teacher, adviser and mentor. In coordination with the Chief Diversity Officer of the Cornell S. C. Johnson College of Business, the candidate shall take a leadership role in maintaining and strengthening the Dyson School’s instructional capacities in diversity and inclusion, as well as developing programs that enhance the academic experience for diverse students. This could include expanding the Certificate in Intercultural and International Management program in collaboration with faculty and diversity program leaders in all three schools. The precise allocation of the appointment to management teaching versus administering the Business Inclusion and Diversity program will be partly determined according to candidate interests.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Ph.D. in management/business, economics, or a related field as well as demonstrated experience in diversity and inclusion teaching and scholarship.
