The Department of is seeking applications for a full-time Professional Faculty in the area of management and Organizational Behavior position in the area of management, organization behavior, human resources and technology with a major emphasis on such topics as business analytics, large data analysis, virtual teams, and network analysis. Position is a nine-month appointment. The successful candidate must have demonstrated excellence in graduate program teaching (face to face, blended and online); academic program development, promotion, growth and success; communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with a diverse array of students and colleagues, and performance reporting for academic and operational reports including assessment data on student learning outcomes, pro forma, marketing analyses and partnership programs.
Responsibilities include: (a) teaching a variety of graduate courses including but not limited to ….(b) academic program development, including alignment with leading professional standards and certifications; (c) program outreach, professional partnership development (d) performance outcomes analyses and reporting; (e) collaborative relationships with leading academic and professional organizations and associations to sustain program prestige, and (d) The position involves participation as part of a team in the planning and implementation of the department’s five-year planning initiatives including global, corporate, strategic and technological innovation. The position includes teaching (online and traditional on-ground) and executive masters programs, including extensive weekend teaching. The position also includes participation in and liaison with major professional associations as well as internal university support functions including marketing, PR, and IT. The position also includes an expectation of continued scholarship and scholarly contributions to the field through publications, paper presentations and significant other contributions to the field.
Qualifications are Ph.D. Organizational Behavior or Organization Development from a nationally recognized program. Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching, academic and program continuous quality improvement, and the University mission and values In addition; the applicant must have formal training and education in the area of business analytics, large data analysis, innovative applications and implementation of IT. Knowledge and use of online teaching formats (D2L, Engage, BB) required. Applicant must have record of publications, papers and presentations at national and international professional and academic meetings in OB, OD and technology. Applicants must have background in corporate executive education as well as an established network of contacts with professional and academic organizations.
Significant managerial and professional experience is required.
