Associate Professor, Leadership and Strategic Change
Center for Values-Driven Leadership – Graduate Programs (EMSVLD, MSVDL)
The Center for Values-Driven Leadership (CVDL), College of Business, Benedictine University invites applications for a fulltime tenure-track faculty position (rank of associate professor) in Leadership and Strategic Change, to begin FALL 2017. This person will teach primarily in our two graduate programs (M.S.) in Values-Driven Leadership Program and will also teach and serve on dissertation committees in our Ph.D./D.B.A. Program in Values-Driven Leadership.
Provide excellent instruction in the M.S. and Ph.D./D.B.A. programs in values-driven leadership; chair dissertation committees in the Ph.D./D.B.A. program; maintain a high-quality program of scholar-practitioner research, publication, conference presentation, and practice; collaborate with colleagues to develop and sustain an active portfolio of externally funded research; participate in service activities consistent with rank; and help to build, grow, and sustain the CVDL’s reputation as a world leader in the fields of leadership, sustainability, and organizational change. Teaching in executive education programs may also be required as these programs develop.
A Ph.D. in leadership, organizational change, organizational behavior, strategic management, business ethics, or a related field; an excellent teaching record; an active research agenda; a commitment to high-impact scholarship and practice; and evidence of an international reputation as a leader in the field. Because our programs are tailored for senior business leaders, significant corporate experience is also required. International experience or a demonstrated interest in international, cross-cultural research and practice is preferred.
