The interdisciplinary Department of Human and Organizational Development (HOD) is seeking applicants for a faculty member in School Counseling at the rank of Senior Lecturer, nontenure-track. Candidates must have a doctorate in school counseling, clinical mental health counseling, or a closely related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who graduated from or are eligible to teach in a CACREP-accredited counseling program. Candidates will have an outstanding record of practice and administration in school counseling. All candidates should have excellent teaching credentials, a focus on preparing school counselors for culturally diverse settings, and the ability to contribute to the department’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. Candidates with interests in positive youth development, social and emotional learning, college access and completion for underrepresented groups, or the intersection of schools and health are especially encouraged to apply. This faculty position provides a unique opportunity to join a highly productive, diverse, and interdisciplinary faculty.
