|The faculty at the Samuel Curtis Johnson School at the SC Johnson College of Business of Cornell University invite applications for a postdoctoral research position with their Business Simulation Lab. The position is offered for one year, with the possibility of renewal contingent upon funding and satisfactory performance. In addition to publishing and carrying out his or her own research, the appointee will engage with faculty of the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Business and the broader SC Johnson College of Business to design and execute studies to analyze behavior in light of psychological and economic models. In addition, the appointee will assume the role as primary administrator for the Business Simulation Lab and, in this capacity, will oversee its budget, staffing, and protocols/procedures.
A PhD degree in the social sciences (Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Marketing, etc.) is required. Additionally, interested candidates should have a formal education in design and execution of experimental studies with human subjects and familiarity with running lab experiments in the social sciences. Strong quantitative, communication, and project management skills are also a must.
