|Scripps College, a women's liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Studio Art to teach four courses per year to include: one foundations course; at least two intro to advanced level studio art courses in digital art; and in some years one course in the College's Core Curriculum in Interdisciplinary Humanities in place of an advanced studio art course or a theory seminar course. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of contemporary art, at least three years of teaching experience, an active exhibition record, and an MFA with a focus in digital art.
Participation in the Core Curriculum in Interdisciplinary Humanities program is expected. Preference will be given to applicants with a commitment to the College's goal of improving higher education for underrepresented students.
